5 Festival Essentials You Can't Live Without
Festival season is fast approaching. There are some things that you should leave at home - your pet cat, your favourite white trainers, and that life size cardboard cutout of Harry Styles. This isn't about those things though, this is about the essentials, the things you shouldn't head off to a festival without.
Sunglasses are an essential because not only are they hella stylish, they also protect your eyes from the sun. Round sunglasses are the must have shape this season and these tropical print shades from Topshop make for the perfect accessory for summer - even if you are just chilling in your back garden pretending you're at Coachella.
Disposable, polaroid, or even just the camera on your phone. Make sure you have enough battery or film to last the whole festival because this is the perfect opportunity to get some cool snaps for future memories! Maybe even get that scrapbook out from under your bed that you started two years ago?
3. Hand Wipes
They don't have to be unicorn themed, but it does help. It's always handy to carry around some hand wipes just in case you fall in some mud or if you generally like being clean. These wipes will not only keep your mitts less than filthy, but also smell like cotton candy, have unicorns on them, and are mini so won't take up much space in your bag. Sorted.
Sure, it's summer, but we all know how much that counts for in Britain. So unless you're lucky enough to be heading abroad for the Summer festivals, you're going to need some wellies to keep those socks nice and dry. They might not be the most fashionable of footwear, but these ones from Sarenza are definitely a step up from the usual. You'll thank us when you're ankle deep in a muddy puddle the size of a field.
5. Moisturiser with added SPF
Sun cream is vital for any day out. Sometimes your face doesn't react well to sun cream though, which is where moisturiser with SPF is your saviour. This one from The Body Shop is SPF30 and will protect you from UVA and UVB rays whilst smoothing and moisturising your skin. It also smells like oranges.
