Despite the fact it’s unhygienic to use dirty brushes on your precious face, it can also cause your skin a lot of issues...ew! So here’s the low down on cleaning your makeup brushes so you have lovely glowing skin.
WHEN TO CLEAN YOUR MAKEUP BRUSHES
Foundation brushes need to washed at least once every week to prevent buildup of product. You don’t want anything that touches your skin every day to be covered in bacteria – your brushes can never be too clean.
Eyeshadow brushes should be washed thoroughly at least twice a month to help prevent any infections or nasties heading towards your eyeballs. All other brushes can be left to be washed about once a month.
