Exams are gone and the world is your oyster, but if monies are tight there are plenty of places within England to escape to for a quick and budget-friendly getaway.
We love this coastal city for its bright and colourful lanes, cafes and boutiques. And when the sun sets, Brighton has a hella amazing nightlife. Gigs, cabaret bars, theatres and comedy clubs all await. Head to Brighton Pavilion for an cultural fusion feast of Chinese, Indian and Regency art and architecture. It's worth paying entry.
A shitload of people flock to Bath each year to see the city's stunning Georgian architecture. And you how can you blame them, just look how pretty it is! From the ancient Roman Baths, the amazing Prior Park Landscape Garden, to the houses of the Royal Crescent, you’ll have a grand time pretending you’re in a Jane Austen novel.
The picturesque city of Oxford should be on every Potterhead’s must visit list. Be sure to check out Christ Church, a.k.a the Great Hall (unfortunately not bewitched to look like the night sky), the Divinity School (you’ll know the ceiling when you see it), Duke Humphries Library (only the best library ever), and so many more magical places. Muggles, will also enjoy punting with hot college boys, which is also very magical.
There is so much to do in Canterbury. So much to do that it may be hard to decide where to start. But because it's summer we say make your way to the seaside. Herne Bay is a fab little spot with little pop coloured beach huts to match. If you’re in the mood to spend money you don’t really have, then Whitstable is your clam, especially in a few weeks when it’s Oyster Festival time!
