No Need to Leave the UK, These Stunning Beaches Are on Your Doorstep 🏖
One of the most popular sites on the Cornish Coast, this incredible sight is an absolutely can’t-miss. It’s a bit of a trek to get down to the beach, but we’re telling you, it’s totally worth it. But if you cbf burning the cals, then the view from the clifftop looking down to the Bedruthan Steps (the epic pointed stacks) is just as wowsers.
ENNERDALE WATER, CUMBRIA
Are we in Switzerland? Nope, it’s West Cumbria, baby! This is possibly the most calming place in the UK, and when you’re done with meditative walk, head to the cutest pebbly beach ever. Dip your toes in for a tickle from little fishies.
BOTANY BAY, KENT
This hidden gem located Broadstairs is an Instagrammer’s dream. White cliffs, chalk stacks and soft yellow sand (no pebbles!). Make a day of it as there’s plenty to do here, including fossil hunting and rock pool exploring. Who knows what souvenirs you’ll find!
MAN O’ WAR BEACH, DORSET
This beach in Luluworth is the perfect swimming spot (it’s a bay you see), so you’re protected from all the elements, well, except water – it is a beach, duh! By the way, you’d be a dummy to not to check out the spectacular* Durdle’s Door.
PENINNIS HEAD, ISLE OF SCILLY
Grab your kicks and make your way to Hugh Town. This pretty as a postcard walk is packed with loads to snap and see. Make sure your phone is charged to the max or make sure you have a reliable portable charger – we reckon they’ll be Pokémon will be eating up the view, too.
MARLOE SANDS, WALES
Amazing red sandstone and grey shale cliffs curl around this secluded beach. It's the perfect place to go to escape uni stress, relationship drama, work woes – you name it! Make your way to Marloe Mere, we can’t guarantee any roses, but you’re sure to see plenty of rare native flora and fauna in this native reserve, including the Spoonbill.
*Editor’s Note: We don’t throw around ‘spectacular’ willy nilly, so defs go see it.
