The Most Incredible Waters to Dive Into on a Student Budget 🏊

Just being you’re not making it rain (yet!), doesn’t mean you don’t deserve a break – ‘spesh after those horrendous thangs called exams. Urgh!

Enjoy your summer break and soak up the sun at these gorgeous beachside destinations. Hey, it's important to treat yo self.

PLITVICE LAKES, CROATIA

Halfway between the Croatian capital, Zagreb, and Zadar on the coast, lies this treasure of a National Park. With 16 lakes interconnected by so many photo-worthy waterfalls, adorable deers, bears, wolves and boars, you’d be a fool to miss this totally surreal natural wonder. FOOL!

CALIBRIA, ITALY

Calibria in the southern Italy ticks all the boxes. Sea, beaches, wine and pasta. Could life get any sweeter? From white sand to pebbly beaches (the latter is great for DIY hot stone massages, by the water) and fantastic old school fishing villages, it's here where you're really living the dream – you can even like a King Triton without the extortionate bill. In that case, bring the Negronis and keep them coming.

CORON ISLAND, THE PHILIPPINES

Just 20 minutes from Coron Town in the province of Palawan, you’ll find these azure waters surrounded by lush forest. How much do you want to zen out here in this Avatar-looking paradise? Now, we get why Sully didn’t want to leave Pandora.

NOOSA, AUSTRALIA

Just a few hours from Brisbane is sub-tropical paradise, Noosa. This seaside escape on the Sunshine Coast is well, that should be an instant giveaway – bloody sunny. If you want to go all Home & Away and get yo surf on, this is a fantastic spot for both beginners and pros, then head on over to those fairy pools to relaaaxxx.

VERNAZZA, ITALY

This colourful village in Cinque Terre has been lapping up the bloggers this summer. And with stunning view like this well, yeah, it’s gonna happen. Seriously, hands up if you’d be willing to give up your phone and 4G for a day here. Yeah, we thought so.

THE GRAND CANYON, USA

Planning to go On The Road? Jack Kerouac didn’t make it to the Grand Canyon, but we bet you won’t make that mistake. Hike 11 miles down and you’ll be so glad to see water you’ll probs want to summer-sault in, too. Geddit?!
