GREEN TEA

If you can’t quite stomach the taste of green tea just yet, try out some different flavours. Twinings have a really good range of flavours. We recommend a good apple and pear green tea for a refreshing summer drink with so many different health benefits. Drinking green tea is thought to reduce cancer risk, burn fat, prevent clogging of arteries, reduce the risk of stroke and improve overall cholesterol levels. So, there are plenty of reasons to take a sip of this tasty tea, all you need to do is decide on which one you want!

BLACK TEA

This is your classic bog standard builder’s cuppa. A good old Yorkshire brew goes down a treat throughout the day and can pretty much put a smile on anyone’s face. Black tea has the highest caffeine content of any of the teas about, so this one will give you a good kick of energy to keep you going throughout the day. Studies have also shown that black tea may protect lungs from damage caused by exposure to cigarette smoke and may reduce the risk of stroke.

PEPPERMINT TEA

This is a real refresher of a tea. It can help aid digestion and keep your insides working nicely. The mint in the tea acts as a muscle relaxant which helps to reduce stress and anxiety. It can also improve the symptoms of IBS, relieve nausea, fever and cough, and boost your immune system. So, if you’re having any issues with your tum, get a cup of this down you and let the peppermint work its magic.

CHAMOMILE TEA

If you’re having trouble sleeping at night, maybe it’s time to take a little bit of time before bed for a nice cup of calming chamomile tea.
