Cheap & Easy Ways To Get Fit This Jan💪
Freshers' 15. We've all been there.
Uni is a tough time for your bod. You've had one too many late night kebabs, the only 5-a-day you're getting is a dubious "fruit" flavoured cocktail from spoons, and you've spent most of today in bed. Sound familiar? I mean it does to me.
It can be difficult to stay fit and healthy whilst at uni, especially if you have a lot of contact hours and not enough money for the "cheap" uni gym that pretty much cost an arm and a leg to stand outside of.
So, here are a few ways we recommend you stay in tip top shape at uni.
Nah, we're not saying you should convert your uni pad into a proper gym, but there are so so so many online tutorials on youtube that we absolutely love and, best of all, use no equipment. Check out these workouts that we love to crack out when we're too broke for the gym:

If you're prone to snacking throughout the day, then maybe switch up your usual cereal for something more protein filled. Protein will help you fill fuller until lunch, so will stop you from caving and buying those pickled onion monster munch before your 9am lecture. Seriously, nobody wants to sit next to you after those things. Check out these awesome high-protein breakfasts from @whygowithout to help inspire you.
JOIN A SOCIETY
So, although gym memberships at uni do tend to be a bit of a stretch, most unis offer some really awesome classes for a reduced price in societies.
Plenty of unis have loads of different societies you could join for waaaay cheaper than a gym membership, for example Yoga, Pole Fitness, Aerobics + loads of different team sports.
If you choose to become a part of a society you'll probably make loads of awesome new friends too who will help keep you motivated to keep coming back and stay healthy. Sorted.
