High-Protein Breakfasts To Kick-Start Your Day πŸ’ͺ

It's officially January and we're all trying our best to shake the hangover and get onto being healthy and all that other sh...eriously great stuff.

One easy way to get healthier and treat your body good is to kickstart your day with a high protein breakfast instead of your usual coco pops/ leftover pizza.

Our absolute fave insta food blogger, Hayley Deaner, from @whygowithout has got us sorted with some seriously good high-protein breakfasts to help you start your day right and keep your inner snack gremlin at bay until lunch time! Check out these awesome brekkie ideas and kick off ya day the right way.πŸ’ƒ

AVOCADO & EGG TOAST

Avocado toast is the best. No arguments. Use brown bread and whack a couple of boiled eggs to add some tasty protein to this delicious and healthy breakfast. 

One large egg has around about 6.3g of protein and is full of several nutrients to help keep your heart happy.

TOTAL PROTEIN: 20g

CHOCOLATE PROTEIN OATS

All hail the proats. This delicious and filling breakfast is perfect to satisfy any sweet tooth. If you find yourself snacking on chocolate throughout the day, this is the breakfast for you. It gives you that yummy chocolate taste, but is actually good for you - hooray!

Make your oats as per and add in a scoop of your favourite protein powder. Top with anything you fancy. Hayley has gone for a lovely mix of bananas, blueberries, peanut butter, chia seeds and some cinnamon to flavour. 

TOTAL PROTEIN: 32g

SMOKED SALMON WITH ASPARAGUS & EGGS

How good does this look? Smoked salmon is always a winner in my eyes. 

This breakfast is a great one for the weekend if you're not too busy and want something a bit fancy on your plate! Fish is a great way to up your protein intake, plus this one will definitely get a couple of your 5-a-day in while you're at it.

TOTAL PROTEIN: 19.7g
