One day a week can make a world of difference. Here’s why you should start doing Meat Free Mondays.
Launched by Paul, Mary and Stella McCartney in 2009, Meat Free Monday is a not-for-profit campaign which aims to raise awareness of the detrimental environmental impact of eating meat, and to encourage people to help slow climate change, preserve natural resources and improve their health by having at least one vegetarian day each week.
If you don't already, then maybe give Meat Free Monday a go and see how you get on. After all, it helps the environment and also your own bod, and we reckon you won't miss bacon for just one day.
Here are some of our favourite vegetarian recipes that will help keep you full, taste delicious and also up your health.

This delish mushroom risotto is super easy to whip up and only takes about 25 mins to make, so there's really no excuse not to try this one out. Plus, it's seriously tasty and you can mix it up using whatever mushrooms you fancy.
