Last Minute Guide To Rushed Revision
If you're anything like me, you're currently procrastinating revision by researching how to revise. Not just how to revise, how to stuff months worth of revision that you didn't do into... I dunno, a few days/a week?!
Here's our guide to revision when you've left it all to the last minute.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW
It's a good idea to look back on past papers or old essay answers to similar subjects that you know the exam or essay will be on. Once you know the basics that you need to know then you can start building up your knowledge on specific areas.
Yeah, still. Even if you've left it all to the last minute, planning is the best way to go.
Sort your syllabus into sections and categorise the most important areas of knowledge. Then you can plan your revision in order of importance, so you have time to reread the most significant parts of the syllabus.
Yeah, this is easier said than done, but you're not going to be functioning your best if you're just stressing out all the time. Take some time for yourself, whether that means doing some yoga, some deep breathing, a little pamper sesh or just vegging out on netflix.
It's important to take some time off revising even if it's last minute. Schedule yourself breaks and stick to them. That means if you have a 30 minute slot to watch an ep on netflix and it asks you if you want to carry on watching you say helllll no.
