Review: The Lenovo MIIX 510 2 in 1
The leather-look detachable keyboard uses unique watchband-like hinges, so it's super easy to attach and remove. It also doubles up as a protective case for the tablet's screen. The best part about the keyboard is that, unlike a lot of 2-in-1 products, it's actually very functional and doesn't feel any different to a regular laptop which makes switching from tablet to typing very smooth.
It also features a full HD 12.2” touchscreen that looks great. The screen doesn't get dirty easily which is one of my favourite things because oh my gosh dirty screens are the worst. It also has an active pen that you can use to draw and write if you prefer to take notes in lectures by hand/ love to doodle away the day.
The design is great and sturdy enough for me to throw in a bag without worrying. Plus, the addition of the kickstand that's adjustable up to 150° means you can pretty much use this product anywhere and everywhere. Now THAT is flexibility. I personally liked being able to use the keyboard to type what I wanted to watch on Netflix and then swiftly switch to tablet mode and kickstand to watch Rick and Morty in bed. Sorted.
I'm genuinely not sure how I've managed to live my life without having the option to transform my tablet into a laptop with a full functional and nice to use keyboard AND turn my laptop into a touch screen tablet so I can press "skip ad" on videos quicker. It's a life saver. I love it. I need it. I refuse to go back to my normal laptop.
