Here's How To Cut Costs On Your Daily Skincare Routine
Looking after your skin is vital for a clear and healthy complexion, but spending big money on it isn’t.
Here are some of the ways you can cut costs on your skincare routine.
1. OWN BRAND DOESN’T MEAN RUBBISH
There are so many own brand products that come with rave reviews. The Superdrug Naturally Radiant range is highly praised by many beauty gurus, especially for the Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser that definitely packs a punch for its price tag.
2. USE THE RIGHT AMOUNT
I’m so guilty of overusing products because I think it’ll work better. I basically dip my own head in serum everyday to moisturise. Using the right amount of product saves you money though, not to mention the people who made the product probably know best about how much you need to use!
3. DRINK WATER
If you find yourself spending loads on expensive moisturiser to combat dry or dehydrated skin, maybe you need to try solving the fundamental issue. You’re probably not drinking enough water. Hydration of the skin comes from within, so dry upping your water intake and not relying so much on products to look fresh faced.
4. DON’T OVERSPEND ON BRUSH CLEANER
Solutions and contraptions to clean your brushes can be super expensive, and although cleaning your brushes is super important (click here for how often you should be cleaning them), a cheap bottle of Johnson’s baby shampoo does the trick. If you want to cut corners with your skincare routine, then definitely grab a mini bottle of baby shampoo to keep your brushes nice and clean.
5. MAKE YOUR OWN MASKS
Instead of buying single use face masks, which are quite often expensive and wasteful, you can make your own face masks at home using ingredients found in your kitchen. You can find lots of awesome recipes for delicious masks that will help look after your skin online and you probably have all the ingredients anyway, so it’s basically free, right?! Right.
