'The Haunting Of Bly Manor' To Start Filming Next Month
Get ready to be spooked, Season 2 of The Haunting Of Hill House will be filming in Vancouver next month.
The horrifying Netflix series is based on a 1959 novel by Shirley Jackson. The book, and the show, follow the five Crain siblings dealing with their PTSD after growing up in their terrifying childhood home. It has been widely praised by Netflix fans and critics, so it was no surprise that a month after the first series ended they announced the second season.
The Haunting of Bly Manor is rumoured to start filming on 30 September, which means we could be looking/ cowering in fear at some new episodes in 2020.
Victoria Pedretti will return for the second series alongside Oliver Jackson-Cohen, who played Luke Crain, who will be playing Peter, a resident of Bly Manor.
The second series will be based on the 1898 novella ‘The Turning Of The Screw’ by Henry James, with Pedretti taking on the lead role of the governess who cares for two very unusual children. If the novella is anything to go by, this series is going to be a good one.
We’re definitely ready for some more scares and some more gothic fun.
