The Ultimate Guide to THORPE PARK'S Fright Nights

The Ultimate Guide to THORPE PARK'S Fright Nights

Spooky season is the best season.

If you’re looking for something fun to do this Halloween, a trip to THORPE PARK Resort’s iconic Fright Nights is the best way to spend the holiday. If you want the lowdown on the scariest attractions to check out; look no further than below.

This Halloween maze is a must for all The Walking Dead fans, if you’re brave enough of course. You’ll be taken deep into the world of the show, and experience horrifying encounters with some of the most iconic scenes and sets, as you and the other survivors try to escape.

Normally, when it’s not Halloween ghost trains are the scariest attraction you can visit. But Platform 15 is a train with a twist. This live-action maze is a one-way ticket to the last known route of the Sleeper Express, a train that seemingly disappeared. You’ll come face-to-face with the ghosts who last rode the haunted train, but if you disturb them you maaaaay just regret it.

The Blair Witch project is in the holy grail of horror films, and in honour of its 20th-anniversary THORPE PARK have created a new experience that will take you deep into the film. This maze is definitely not for the faint-hearted as you venture deep into the forest and take on whatever’s lurking in the darkness. Just remember if you’ve seen the film…never spend the night; never look in her eyes; never turn away from the corner.

Love a challenge? Then this is for you. The task is easy, simply ride on the big five thrill rides in the pitch black, including; Stealth, Nemesis Inferno, Saw: The Ride, The Swarm and Colossus. Once you’ve ridden all five you can claim your exclusive Feared 5 wristband to show off just how brave you are.

As the name would suggest, this one is absolutely terrifying. Advertised as the most extreme THORPE PARK scare maze EVER, you’ll be taken to the abandoned Creek Woods Saw Mill which is home to a real-life family of deranged lumberjacks. These lumberjacks aren’t just out to cut through wood and have a thirst for gore so prepare for the worst as you enter this very gruesome maze.

No matter how bad your school experience was, you’ll agree that it can’t be as bad as this. This live show hosts carnage at Amity High, a high school overrun with vampires. You’ll experience a prom night like no other, where the bloodthirsty students are out to recruit fresh blood and only the bravest will survive.

In another TWD themed attraction, this maze is no ordinary zombie experience. You’re instructed to keep an eye on Walkers at all times and not to trust everyone you meet as you try and escape to safety. This maze is outdoors which adds to the spookiness, especially if you’re visiting after dark.

If you want to take a break from the live-action mazes, a horror movie marathon will be hosted in the Screamplexx Cinema. With a line-up of short films featuring gruesome special fx and terrifyingly spooky surprises, this may be a break from the mazes but it’s by no means any less scary.

If you’ve ever done an escape room, you’ll know that they’re not as easy as they look. So what could be scarier than an escape room during Halloween? You’ll be locked inside with the simple task of finding an antidote to a fast-spreading infection beyond Swarm Island. You’ll only have 20 minutes to unlock the code, so you’ll have to be quick.

If you think you’re brave enough to take all of this on (and tbh, we’re not sure if we are) you can grab student tickets to Fright Nights for £28, saving you 15% off.
